When anger has you on your feet
Not words this time, but a physical instruction.
If one of you becomes angry while standing, let him sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise let him lie down.
Lower your body and the anger has less to work with. It is one of the plainest pieces of advice in the whole corpus.

Narrated AbuDharr: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to us: When one of you becomes angry while standing, he should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down
