When home is not safe
The prayer of a woman married to Pharaoh, asking to be built a house somewhere else.
وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱمْرَأَتَ فِرْعَوْنَ إِذْ قَالَتْ رَبِّ ٱبْنِ لِى عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِى مِن فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهِۦ وَنَجِّنِى مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Rabbi-bni lī ʿindaka baytan fi-l-jannah, wa najjinī min Firʿawna wa ʿamalih, wa najjinī mina-l-qawmi-ẓ-ẓālimīn.
And Allāh presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."
Where this comes from
Āsiya lived inside the palace of the man the Qur'an uses as the picture of tyranny. She asked for the neighbour first and the house second: near You, and then the house. Allah holds her up as an example for every believer, man or woman.
