إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمَّا خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي تَغْلِبُ غَضَبِي
inna-Llāh ʿazza wajalla lammā khalaqa al-khalqa kataba biyadihi ʿalā nafsihi inna raḥmatī taghlibu ghaḍabī

The full narration
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When Allah created the universe, He decreed for Himself: ‘My mercy prevails over My wrath.’”
