Jāmiʿ at-Tirmidhī 3110

تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يُمْلِي وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ يُمْهِلُ لِلظَّالِمِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ

tabāraka wataʿālā yumlī warubbamā qāla yumhilu lilẓẓālimi ḥattā idhā akhadhah lam yuflithu

The full narration

Narrated Abu Musa:that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed Allah Blessed and Most High gives respite (Yumli)" and perhaps he said: "(Yumhil)" respite to the wrong-doer until, when He seizes him, and he cannot escape." Then he recited the Ayah: Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are doing wrong (11:)
