لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ يَفْتَخِرُونَ بِآبَائِهِمُ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا إِنَّمَا هُمْ فَحْمُ جَهَنَّمَ أَوْ لَيَكُونَنَّ أَهْوَنَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْجُعَلِ الَّذِي يُدَهْدِهُ الْخِرَاءَ بِأَنْفِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَذْهَبَ عَنْكُمْ عُبِّيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ تَقِيٌّ وَفَاجِرٌ شَقِيٌّ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ بَنُو آدَمَ وَآدَمُ خُلِقَ مِنْ تُرَابٍ
layantahiyanna aqwāmun yaftakhirūna bibāʾihimu adh-dhīna mātūā innamā hum faḥmu jahannama aw layakūnanna ahwana ʿalā-Llāh mina al-juʿali adh-dhī yudahdihu al-khirāʾa biʾanfihi inna-Llāh qad adhhaba ʿankum ʿubbiyyaha al-jāhiliyyah innamā huwa muʾminun taqiyyun wafājirun shaqiyyun an-nāsu kulluhum banū ādama wadamu khuliqa min turābin

Narrated Abu Hurairah:that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "People should stop boasting about their fathers who have died, while they are but coals of Hell, or they will be more humiliated with Allah than the dung beetle who rolls dung with his nose. Indeed Allah has removed the pride of Jahiliyyah from you, and its boasting about lineage. [Indeed a person is either] a pious believer, or a miserable sinner. And people are all the children of Adam, and Adam was [created] from dust
