Congratulating someone on their marriage
What the Prophet ﷺ said to the one who had just married.
بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
Bāraka-llāhu lak, wa bāraka ʿalayk, wa jamaʿa baynakumā fī khayr.
“May Allah bless you, and send blessings upon you, and join you both in good.”
The full narration
Narrated AbuHurayrah: When the Prophet (ﷺ) congratulated a man on his marriage, he said: May Allah bless for you, and may He bless on you, and combine both of you in good (works)
