Say this
إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا، فَأَحِبَّهُ. فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ، فَيُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ فُلاَنًا، فَأَحِبُّوهُ
Idhā aḥabba-Llāhu ʿabdan nādā Jibrīl: inna-Llāha yuḥibbu fulānan fa-aḥibbah. Fa-yuḥibbuhu Jibrīl, fa-yunādī Jibrīlu fī ahli-s-samāʾ: inna-Llāha yuḥibbu fulānan fa-aḥibbūh
“When Allah loves a servant He calls Jibril: Allah loves so and so, so love him. Jibril loves him, and Jibril calls out among the people of the sky: Allah loves so and so, so love him.”
Where this comes from
So the people of the sky love him. Then acceptance is placed for him among the people of the earth. Being liked by people is put at the end of the chain as a consequence rather than the aim.
The full narration
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel saying: 'Allah loves so and so; O Gabriel, love him.' Gabriel would love him, and then Gabriel would make an announcement among the residents of the Heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore, you should love him also.' So, all the residents of the Heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth
