حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الأَسْوَدِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: أَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَدَحَ خَشَبٍ، غَلِيظًا، مُضَبَّبًا بِحَدِيدٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا ثَابِتُ، هَذَا قَدَحُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Thabit said: “Anas ibn Malik brought out to us a wooden drinking vessel, roughly clamped with iron, then he said: ‘O Ihabit, this is the drinking vessel of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace)'!”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، وَثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: لَقَدْ سَقَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، بِهَذَا الْقَدَحِ الشَّرَابَ كُلَّهُ، الْمَاءَ، وَالنَّبِيذَ، وَالْعَسَلَ، وَاللَّبَنَ.

Anas said: "I had given Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) every kind of beverage to drink using this vessel: water, date juice, honey and milk.”
