حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ، فَقَالَ: احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، حَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ، فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعَيْنِ مِنْ طَعَامٍ، وَكَلَّمَ أَهْلَهُ فَوَضَعُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ مَا تَدَاوَيْتَمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ، أَوْ إِنَّ مِنْ أَمْثَلِ دَوَائِكُمُ الْحِجَامَةَ.

Anas ibn Malik said: "Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) sought to have blood drawn from him by the operation of cupping. Abu Taiba cupped him, so he ordered two measures of food for him, and he spoke to his people, so they relieved him of some of his tax. He also said: 'Cupping is the most excellent means by which you can provide medical treatment.’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، احْتَجَمَ وَأَمَرَنِي فَأَعْطَيْتُ الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ.

Ali said: “The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) had the operation of cupping performed upon him, and on his instructions I gave the cupper his fee.”

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْتَجَمَ فِي الأَخْدَعَيْنِ، وَبَيْنَ الْكَتِفَيْنِ، وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ، وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ.

Ibn Abbas said: "The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) had cupping performed between the two veins in the neck and between the shoulders. He also gave the cupper his fee, which he would not have done if cupping had been unlawful.”

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، دَعَا حَجَّامًا فَحَجَمَهُ وَسَأَلَهُ: كَمْ خَرَاجُكَ؟ فَقَالَ: ثَلاثَةُ آصُعٍ، فَوَضَعَ عَنْهُ صَاعًا وَأَعْطَاهُ أَجْرَهُ.

Ibn 'Umar said: "The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) summoned a cupper, so he cupped him. Then he asked him: “How much is your tax?” He said: “Three measures of grain,” so he reduced his tax by one measure and gave him his fee.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، وَجَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَحْتَجِمُ فِي الأَخْدَعَيْنِ وَالْكَاهِلِ، وَكَانَ يَحْتَجِمُ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ، وَتِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ، وَإِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ.

Anas ibn Malik said (may Allah be well pleased with him): "Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to have cupping performed between the two veins of the neck and in the upper back, and he used to undergo cupping on the seventeenth, nineteenth and twenty-first days of the month.”

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ بَمَلَلٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْقَدَمِ.

Anas ibn Malik said: "Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) underwent cupping on the top of the foot, while he was in the state of Pilgrim consecration in Malal .”
