خَمِّرُوا الآنِيَةَ وَأَجِيفُوا الأَبْوَابَ، وَأَطْفِئُوا الْمَصَابِيحَ، فَإِنَّ الْفُوَيْسِقَةَ رُبَّمَا جَرَّتِ الْفَتِيلَةَ فَأَحْرَقَتْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ

khammirūā al-āniyaha wa-ajīfūā al-abwāba, wa-aṭfiʾūā al-maṣābīḥa, fa-inna al-fuwaysiqaha rubbamā jarrati al-fatīlaha fa-aḥraqat ahla al-bayti

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "(At bedtime) cover the utensils, close the doors, and put out the lights, lest the evil creature (the rat) should pull away the wick and thus burn the people of the house
