The verse for your parents
Commanded immediately after being told not to say even a word of complaint to them.
وَٱخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ ٱلذُّلِّ مِنَ ٱلرَّحْمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱرْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِى صَغِيرًا
…rabbi-rḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā.
And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."
The reason given is not that they are owed it, but that they did this for you once, when you could do nothing for yourself.
