What he will say at the Basin about people he recognises
Ibn Abi Mulaykah started praying against it out loud.
فَأَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ مِنِّي وَمِنْ أُمَّتِي
Fa-aqūlu yā rabbi minnī wa min ummatī
“So I will say: my Lord, they are from me and from my community.”
Where this comes from
He said he would be at the Basin watching who came, and people would be taken away in front of him, and he would object on their behalf. The answer is that he does not know what they did after he left. Asma bint Abi Bakr reported it, and the narrator after her could not hear it without saying: O Allah, we seek refuge in You from turning back on our heels.

Narrated Asma 'bint Abu Bakr:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I will be standing at the Lake-Fount so that I will see whom among you will come to me; and some people will be taken away from me, and I will say, 'O Lord, (they are) from me and from my followers.' Then it will be said, 'Did you notice what they did after you? By Allah, they kept on turning on their heels (turned as renegades).' " The sub-narrator, Ibn Abi Mulaika said, "O Allah, we seek refuge with You from turning on our heels, or being put to trial in our religion
