When you have everything and still feel hollow
A specific consequence, named in the Qur'an, for turning away from the reminder.
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ
Wa man aʿraḍa ʿan dhikrī fa-inna lahu maʿīshatan ḍankā…
And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and We will gather [i.e., raise] him on the Day of Resurrection blind."
Not a poor life. A narrow one. The word describes a space too tight to breathe in, regardless of what is in it.
