Blessing in the early part of the day
The Prophet ﷺ asked for his community to be blessed specifically in its mornings.
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا
Allāhumma bārik li-ummatī fī bukūrihā.
“O Allah, bless my nation in its early mornings.”
He would send out expeditions and traders at the start of the day for this reason. The blessing asked for is in the timing itself.
The full narration
Narrated Sakhr al-Ghamidi: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "O Allah, bless my people in their early mornings." When he sent out a detachment or an army, he sent them at the beginning of the day. Sakhr was a merchant, and he would send off his merchandise at the beginning of the day; and he became rich and had much wealth. Abu Dawud said: He is Sakhr b. Wada'ah
