Tracing back where any of it came from
A single verse that accounts for everything you have.
Wa mā bikum min niʿmatin fa-mina-llāh, thumma idhā massakumu-ḍ-ḍurru fa-ilayhi taj'arūn.
“And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allāh. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help.”
The second half is the sharper one: you already know where to turn when it hurts. The verse is only asking you to know it when things are fine too.
