Three states, and then both sides of one act
He asked not to be on either end of it.
أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ وَالْقِلَّةِ وَالذِّلَّةِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ
Aʿūdhu bika mina-l-faqri wa-l-qillati wa-dh-dhillah, wa aʿūdhu bika min an aẓlima aw uẓlam
“I seek refuge in You from poverty and scarcity and humiliation, and I seek refuge in You from wronging or being wronged.”
Where this comes from
The last clause is the one to notice. Not just from being wronged. From being the one who does it, named first.
The full narration
Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from poverty", lack and abasement, and I seek refuge in Thee lest I cause or suffer wrong
