Three instructions for dealing with people
Said to be among the most comprehensive verses about character.
خُذِ ٱلْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِٱلْعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ
Khudhi-l-ʿafwa wa'mur bi-l-ʿurfi wa aʿriḍ ʿani-l-jāhilīn.
“Take what is given freely,1 enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant.”
