Good is a test as much as bad
A verse that names both directions.
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً ۖ وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Kullu nafsin dhā'iqatu-l-mawt, wa nablūkum bi-sh-sharri wa-l-khayri fitnah…
“Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.”
Most people only recognise the first kind. The second is harder to notice while it is happening.
