Four things named together as one condition
They had to ask what the last word meant.
The words
يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيَنْقُصُ الْعَمَلُ، وَيُلْقَى الشُّحُّ وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ
Yataqārabu-z-zamānu wa yanquṣu-l-ʿamal, wa yulqa-sh-shuḥḥu wa yakthuru-l-harj
Time will draw close together, deeds will decrease, miserliness will be cast in, and harj will increase.
Where this comes from
They asked what harj was. He said: killing. Time contracting and work shrinking are named in the same breath, which is what people describe when they say the days go faster and less gets done.

Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, and miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people), and the Harj (will increase)." They asked, "What is the Harj?" He replied, "(It is) killing (murdering), (it is) murdering (killing)
