Asked for at the start of a journey
Said as he set out in the morning.
سَمَّعَ سَامِعٌ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ وَحُسْنِ بَلاَئِهِ عَلَيْنَا رَبَّنَا صَاحِبْنَا وَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا عَائِذًا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ
Rabbanā ṣāḥibnā wa afḍil ʿalaynā, ʿā'idhan billāhi mina-n-nār.
“Our Lord, accompany us and bestow Your favour upon us, seeking refuge in Allah from the Fire.”
The full narration
Abu Huraira reported that when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) set out on a journey in the morning, he used to say:" A listener listened to our praising Allah (for) His goodly trial of us. Our Lord! acompany us, guard us and bestow upon us Thy grace. I am seeker of refuge in Allah from the Fire
