What he said looking towards Yemen
He asked for two things, one of them not obviously connected.
اللَّهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَمُدِّنَا
Allāhumma aqbil bi-qulūbihim wa bārik lanā fī ṣāʿinā wa muddinā
“O Allah, turn their hearts towards us, and bless us in our ṣāʿ and our mudd.”
Where this comes from
A ṣāʿ and a mudd are measures of grain, roughly a household's portion. He asked for hearts and for food in the same breath, from a city that at the time was short of both.
The full narration
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit [may Allah be pleased with him]:that the Prophet (ﷺ) looked towards Yemen and said: "O Allah direct their hearts and bless us in our Sa' and our Mudd
