Two situations people misread
Being given much and being given little are both misinterpreted.
فَأَمَّا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَكْرَمَنِ وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَهَـٰنَنِ كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
Fa-amma-l-insānu idhā ma-btalāhu rabbuhu fa-akramahu wa naʿʿamahu fa-yaqūlu rabbī akraman, wa ammā idhā ma-btalāhu fa-qadara ʿalayhi rizqahu fa-yaqūlu rabbī ahānan.
“And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."1 But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me." No!1 But you do not honor the orphan”
Both are called a test. The verse does not accept either reading.
