What He says in the last part of the night
Three questions, repeated until the sky lightens.
هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى هَلْ مِنْ دَاعٍ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ هَلْ مِنْ مُسْتَغْفِرٍ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ حَتَّى يَنْفَجِرَ الصُّبْحُ
Hal min sāʾilin yuʿṭā, hal min dāʿin yustajābu lah, hal min mustaghfirin yughfaru lah, ḥattā yanfajira-ṣ-ṣubḥ
“Is there anyone asking, so he may be given? Anyone calling, so he may be answered? Anyone seeking forgiveness, so he may be forgiven? Until dawn breaks.”
Where this comes from
Half the night gone, or two thirds. The questions are not rhetorical and they are not asked once. They are asked over and over into an empty hour, and they stop only when the sun comes up.
The full narration
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:When half of the night or two-third of it is over. Allah, the Blessed and the Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven and says: Is there any beggar, so that he be given? Is there any supplicator so that he be answered? Is there any beggar of forgiveness so that he be forgiven? (And Allah continues it saying) till it is daybreak
